RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Nov 14: when most of the departments of Rajshahi University (RU) have successfully reduced session jam, the students of business faculty are confronted with one full year's session jam much to the frustration of about 2,500 students.
Over last three years most of the departments of the university were successful in reducing session jam but only Business Studies faculty of RU is lagging behind.
The BBA and MBA programme started from 1996-97 academic sessions under the Business Administration faculty with grading and semester system.
According to the programme regulation one semester must be completed in five months and the results must be given in 15 days. But at the present situation is that one semester is being completed within 910 months instead of six months.
The session jam is at the highest in the Dept of Finance & Banking (F&B).
