Set up mfg plant in BD, Tofail urges TATA

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed on Wednesday appealed to the Indian conglomerate, TATA Motors, to set up a manufacturing plant in Bangladesh. He said, "You should not limit yourself to marketing cars. We want TATA Motors to set up a manufacturing plant in Bangladesh." The minister was speaking as the chief guest at the launching ceremony of TATA's Nano cars. TATA's distributor in Bangladesh Nitol Motors organised the function, according to a news agency.
