SEU marks Faculty Research Day

The Institute of Research and Training (IRT) of Southeast University (SEU) has recently organised a programme on the university's city campus marking "Faculty Research Day 2026", says a statement.
Prominent economist Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud, also a former adviser to the immediate-past interim government, attended the event as the chief guest.
Dr Tahmeed Ahmed, executive director of the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b), and Dr AK Enamul Haque, director general of the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS), were present as distinguished speakers.
They praised SEU faculty members for their research productivity and commended the university's commitment to and support for scholarly activities.
The session was chaired by SEU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam while the opening remarks were delivered by Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Md Mofazzal Hossain.
