Seventh international confce on HRM, dev begins from July 24

The 7th International Conference on Human Resource Management and Development - 2007 by Rapport Bangladesh Limited as its annual event will be held from July 24 to July 29 at Dhaka Sheraton Hot1el, said a press release.
President Iajuddin Ahmed will inaugurate the conference as the chief guest.
The theme of the conference is 'Best Human Resource Management Practices for Good Governance'.
Three top speakers of the world on HRM will conduct the seminar and workshop in the conference.
Professor Kanes Rajah of the University of Greenwich Business School in UK Centre for Entrepreneurship will conduct a seminar on "Leadership" on July 28. On the same day morning session Unilever (Philippines) Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Mehta will conduct another seminar on "Followership - A Leader's Value System". One of the top HRM Presenters of South East Asia Dr R L Bhatia will conduct one-day workshop on "Who Moved my Cheese" on July 25. Fifty research based paper on HRM and D and related issues will be presented by HRM experts from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. HRM experts, authors, professors and top managers from these countries will give their expert presentation on July 26, 27 and 29 at the second conference venue of Baton Rouge Restaurant.
Renowned management and financial expert Prof (Dr) Khawaja Amjad Saeed from Pakistan, eminent management author trainer from India Sharu S Rangnekar and many others will present their thought-provoking experiences in this conference.
The conference is devoted to various inauguration, closing and business sessions to be chaired by Secretary (Industries) Dr Md Nurul Amin, The Bangladesh Today Editor Mohammad Asafuddowlah, North South University Vice-Chancellor Prof (Dr) Hafiz G A Siddiqi, The Daily Star Editor Mahfuz Anam, Novartis Bangladesh Ltd Managing Director Ashfaque Ur Rahman, Glaxo SmithKline Bangladesh Limited Managing Director M Azizul Huq, The Holiday Editor Syed Kamaluddin and The Bangladesh Today Managing Editor Zulfia Asaf.
The concluding and certificate award ceremony of the conference will be held on July 29 at Baton Rouge Restaurant at 5:00 pm. Former Adviser Akbar Ali Khan will be the chief guest and distribute certificates to the participants.
Transparency International Chairman Professor Muzaffer Ahmed will be the chief guest in the banquet session of the conference to be held on July 29 at 7:30 pm at the same venue.
