Severe heat wave sweeps some dists----

Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions until 6:00 pm today (Monday), according to the Met office.
Severe heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rajbari, Khulna, Chuadanga, Meherpur and Jashore. The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Sunday at 41.8 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga, while the lowest temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat of Kurigram.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 39.9 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 29.5 degrees Celsius.
