Sewing machines distributed

Thirty five sewing machines were distributed among distressed women in Ramganj Upazila in Laxmipur through a function Saturday. Besides, corrugated sheets were also distributed among 30 other women at the same function. Laximpur District Council organised the function where Nazma Akter, MP, and President of Central Mohila Jubo League were present as chief guest. It may be mentioned here that before distribution of the sewing machines the distressed women were provided with necessary training and daily allowances. -BSS
