Sewing machines distributed in C\\\'nawabganj

Sewing machines were distributed among 25 ultra poor women at Chowdala union at Gomostapur Upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Sunday. Proyas Manobik Unnayan Society, a non-governmental organisation, distributed the sewing machines with the association of European Union and Palli Karmo Sahayok Foundation under 'The European Union's' Food Security Programme for Bangladesh.' Earlier, a month-long training on sewing was imparted to the beneficiaries to become self-reliant, according to BSS.
