SGS Bangladesh Ltd signs deal with DAM

SGS Bangladesh Limited and Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) have recently signed an agreement for the implementation of project under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at DAM Bhaban in the city.
SGS Bangladesh Ltd Managing Director Arial Mirinda and DAM Executive Director M Ehsanur Rahman signed the deal on behalf of the respective organisations, according to a press release.
Also present at the signing ceremony were DAM President Kazi Rafiqul Alam, Programme Division Director Shafiqul Islam, Administration and Human Resources Director Azam Chowdhury, Training and Material Development Division Director MA Rashid and Microfinance Unit Chief MA Salam, SGS Bangladesh Financial Controller and Company Secretary Md Akteruzzaman, Human Resource Manager Jahangir Mohammad and Business Manager MA Momin.
Under the project, underprivileged beneficiaries of Sreepur Upazila in Gazipur district will be made self-reliant through micro-credit programme. The activities of the programme will begin as pilot project and then be extended, the release added.
