Md Shafquat Hossain has been promoted to the head of personal financial services of the HSBC Bangladesh with effect from tomorrow (Wednesday).
Hossain has over 10 years experience in retail banking having worked at American Express Bank, ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank prior to joining HSBC in 2001.
He has held a variety of roles, most recently acting as deputy head of personal financial services for HSBC Bangladesh. Hossain was educated in Sweden and the USA as well as Bangladesh.
