Shahedul Islam new BCI president

Shahedul Islam has been elected president of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) for 2008-2010 term recently, says a press release.
SM Shahab Uddin and Delowar Hossain Raja have been elected senior vice-president and the vice-president respectively of the chamber uncontested.
Election Board of the chamber declared names of twenty-four members of the board of directors of BCI elected uncontested for the two-year term.
16 directors are from Ordinary Class and 8 from Associate Class.
The newly elected directors from Ordinary Class are A Jabbar Laskar, Zahid Maleque, Shahedul Islam, Maroof Sattar Ali, AK Azad, Md Lutfor Rahman (Badal), Noorullah (John), Abul Kalam Bhuiyan , Jahangir Alam, Altaf Hossain, Mufti Mohammad Zahid, Khandakar Ziaul Bashar, Md Shamsul Hoque, Md Ismail Hossain , Delowar Hossain Raja, Priti Chakraborty. Directors from Associate Class are Md Aminul Islam, KM Zakir Hossain, Md Soaebul Islam, SM Shah Alam Mukul, Zia Hayder Mithu, SM Shahab Uddin, Reazur Rahman, Muhammad Golam Mostofa Talukdar.
