Shahid Hamid took over as the first general manager of Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort Limited, a five-star private sector hotel owned by the British Bangladesh Investment Group, recently.
Shahid brings with him three decades of extensive expertise in hospitality industry both at home and abroad. A post-graduate in Public Administration from Dhaka University, Shahid was with Hotel Sarina as executive director before joining Dhaka Regency Hotel.
