Shahidul promoted as AMD of Mercantile Bank

AKM Shahidul Haque has recently been promoted as additional managing director (AMD) of Mercantile Bank Limited (MBL).
Prior to promotion, Shahidul held the post of deputy managing director of the same bank.
Shahidul started his banking career in the year 1977 by joining Rupali Bank as a probationary officer.
He served National Bank Limited, Prime Bank Limited and then joined Mercantile Bank Limited as senior vice president in 1999.
Shahidul completed his Masters degree with honours in Political Science from the University of Dhaka in the year 1974.
