Shahidullah new CEO of Crystal Ins Co

SM Shahidullah has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Crystal Insurance Company Limited (CICL), says a press release.
Mr. Shahidullah started off his career at Eastland Insurance Company Limited in 1989 and later worked with several other companies, including Northern General Insurance Company Limited and Sonar Bangla Insurance Company Limited.
He joined Crystal Insurance Company as a Senior Vice President and head of Claims, Re-Insurance and Branch Control Department in 2005. He assumed the role of CEO (current charge) in August 2023 and the Board of Directors of CICL has recently appointed him as CEO of the company, which was approved by the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA).
Mr. Shahidullah did his B.Sc (Honours) in geography from Jagannath University College in 1986 and completed M.Sc in geography from same institute in 1987. He is an Associate of Bangladesh Insurance Academy (ABIA).
Mr. Shahidullah is a part-time lecturer of Bangladesh Insurance Academy and Bangladesh Insurance Association. He is the Treasurer of Association of Insurance Executives (AIE) and also Treasurer of Bangladesh Insurance Diploma Association (BIDA).
