Shahjalal Bank holds discussion on Global Economy

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organised a discussion meeting on Present Global Economic Crisis and Its Remedies in the city recently, said a press release.
Managing Director (MD) of the bank Muhammad Ali presided over the meeting. The executives and Dhaka-based branch managers of the bank took part in the meeting.
The meeting also reviewed the performance under Business Plan 2008.
Addressing the meeting, the MD laid emphasis on safety of existing investment in the wake of global economic recession, promotion of quality investment and consolidation of business growth in all areas of operation of the bank.
Among others, deputy managing directors Md Jillur Rahman and Mukhter Hossain were present at the meeting.
