Shahjalal Bank opens branch at Keranigonj

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) opened its 30th branch at Keranigonj in Dhaka Wednesday. Sponsor shareholder of the bank Mohammad Hasan formally inaugurated the branch.
Hasan said SJIBL is being operated by an expert team of professionals with international standard. He said the bank staff remain vigilant to reach quality service to the clients.
SJIBL Managing Director Mohammad Ali said the bank has become one of the best banks within a short period due to proper guidelines set by the board of directors and also because of dedication and sincerity of the bank staff. He also briefed on the bank's deposit and investment schemes which have attracted the general depositors.
SJIBL Chairman Akkasuddin Mollah, Vice Chairman Mohammad Farooq, Directors Md Towhidur Rahman, Md Solaiman, Sponsor Shareholder Anwer Hossain Khan, deputy managing directors Md Jillur Rahman and Md Mukhter Hossain, former MD M Kamaluddin Chowdhury were present, among others, at the opening ceremony.
