Shahjalal Bank opens branch at Motijheel

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) opened the 22th branch of the bank at Motijheel Commercial Area in the city Wednesday.
SJIBL board of directors' Chairman Sajjatuz Jumma inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
Also present in the inaugural ceremony were SJIBL board of directors' Vice-chairman Md Sanaullah Shahid, Managing Director (current charge) Muhammad Ali, executive committee Chairman Md Solaiman, Director Mohammad Farooq, sponsor shareholders Akkasuddin Mollah, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Syed Nurul Arefeen, Mohammad Hasan, Shariah Council member Md Mustafizur Rahman, Chief Executive Consultant M Kamaluddin Chowdhury and DMD Md Jillur Rahman along with businessmen and industrialists.
Jumma said the SJIBL gives better services to its clients with latest technology.
As a result, bank's clients and area of services are increasing day by day, he said.
Another four branches of the bank will be opened by the end of the current year at different places of the country, he added.
The SJIBL managing director focused on different schemes with a view to improving the deposit base of the bank.
The bank has already taken necessary measures for the expatriates to remit money, he said.
