Shahjalal Bank opens branch at Progati Sarani

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) opened its 29th branch (Bhatara branch) at Progati Sarani in the city Thursday. The sponsor shareholder of the Bank Anwer Hossain Khan formally inaugurated the branch as chief guest, says a press release.
Anwer said an expert team of professionals with the international standard is operating Shahjalal Islami Bank. He said the Bank staffs are committed to providing quality service to the clients.
Managing Director Mohammad Ali said the Bank has become one of the best banks within a short period due to proper guidelines set by the board of directors and also because of dedication and sincerity of the Bank staffs. He also gave a short brief about the bank's deposit and investment schemes.
Among others, Chairman of the Board Akkasuddin Mollah, founder chairman Sajjatuz Jumma, Vice Chairman Syed Nurul Arefeen, Directors Md Towhidur Rahman, Md Solaiman, Abdul Halim, Khandoker Sakib Ahmed, sponsor shareholders MA Mannan, Deputy Managing Directors Md Jillur Rahman and Md Mukhter Hossain, Former MD M Kamaluddin Chowdhury, Chairman, Shariah Council of SJIBL Abdur Rahman and member Abul Kalam Azad were present in the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony included recitation from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa on the branch premises.
