Shahjalal Bank to provide Tk 200m loan to NUB

Shahjhalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) and Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) signed an agreement at the former's head office in the city Wednesday.
SJIBL Managing Director (CC) Muhammed Ali and NUB Vice Chancellor M Shamsul Haque signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the deal, SJIBL will extend a loan worth Tk 200 million (20 crore) to the NUB for purchasing the university's own premises.
Executive Vice President of the bank Md Ghulam Wahab, Manager of Satmasjid Road branch M Akhter Hossain and SAVP Midhat Ara and NUB Treasurer M Abu Bakar Siddique were present, among others, on the occasion.
