SHAHJALAL ISLAMI BANK MARKS SILVER JUBILEE WITH THALASSAEMIA WORKSHOP
Shahjalal Islami Bank organised workshop a on thalassaemia and a voluntary blood donation programme in association with Bangladesh Thalassaemia Hospital at the corporate head office of the bank as part of its 25th anniversary on Tuesday.The board of directors of the bank's Chairman Mohammed Younus was present as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the event. Associate Professor Dr. Mafruha Akhter (Rumana) of the Department of Hematology, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, presented data on Thalassemia in the workshop. Shahjalal Islami Bank Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Additional Managing Director Md. Abdullah Al-Mamun and deputy managing directors M. M. Saiful Islam and Md. Jafar Sadeq delivered speeches in the programme.
