SHAHJALAL ISLAMI BANK RECEIVES AWARDS FROM SAFA

Shahjalal Islami Bank was given three prestigious awards from South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). SAFA awarded the bank first prize (gold award) in the 'SAARC Anniversary Award in corporate governance category, second prize (silver award) in the 'Private Sector Banks' category and 'Certificate of Merit' for best presented 'Annual Report-2023' in the 'Integrated Reporting' category. Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe, governor of the central bank of Sri Lanka, recently handed over the awards in Sri Lankan capital Colombo to the bank's representatives, including Deputy Managing Director Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam.
