Shahjalal Islami Bank signs agreement with BB

Shahjalal Islami Bank has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank's Sustainable Finance Department to promote green products, projects and initiatives under a refinancing scheme recently introduced by the central bank. Chowdhury Liakat Ali, director of Sustainable Finance at Bangladesh Bank, and Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, managing director of Shahjalal Islami Bank, signed the agreement. MM Saiful Islam, deputy managing director of Shahjalal Islami Bank, Ragib Ibnul Asif, joint director of Sustainable Finance at Bangladesh Bank, and other senior officials from both institutions witnessed the signing ceremony.
