Shahriar Alam to attend Erdogan\\\'s inauguration

State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam will attend the inauguration of Turkish President-elect Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Thursday. The junior minister will represent Bangladesh in the swearing-in ceremony of the new Turkish President. Erdogan won the country’s first direct ballot on August 10. The foreign ministry said Alam would leave Dhaka for Turkish capital Ankara on Wednesday (Aug 27). Erdogan’s inauguration will take place on Aug 28. Shahriar Alam will come back on the next day after attending the ceremony, the ministry said in a media release, according to bdnews24.com.
