Shahriar for deepening BD-Mexico ties

State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam had a series of meetings with his high-level Mexican counterparts and business entrepreneurs, and stressed joint efforts for taking the ties between the two countries to a newer height. Bangladesh initiated negotiations for signing two possible cooperation agreements for visa waiver of diplomatic and official passport holders and regular Foreign Office Consultations. Another agreement between the National Board of Revenue (NBR) and its Mexican Counterpart SAT (Servicio de Administración Tributaria–Tax Service Administration) on Mutual Administrative Assistance and Exchange of Information in Customs Matters is at the final stage and would be ready to sign soon, according to a news agency.
