Shahrukh to vote for Sundarbans

Supper star Shahrukh Khan will vote for the world's largest mangrove forest, the Sundarbans, in the process of electing Seven Wonders of the World.
Shahrukh will also participate in a live concert called "King Khan Live in Dhaka" at the Army Stadium on December 10 this year.
A signing in ceremony was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Dhaka Monday, between the state-owned Bangladesh Tourism Board and Antar Showbiz, organizer of the concert, in this connection.
Shafiq Alam Mehedi, secretary in-charge civil aviation and tourism ministry, said tourism being an industry, needed proper development.
"Having no financial involvement the civil aviation and tourism board is an official partner of this concert as part of its social commitment," Mr Mehedi, also chairman of tourism board, told reporters while replying to a query.
Shapon Chowdhury, chief executive officer of Antar Showbiz, said that Sharukh would inspire people to elect the Sundorbans through participating in the mega concert.
