Shakib banned for 6 months

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been banned for six months from all forms of cricket, reports bdnews24.com.
Additionally, the nation's top cricketer will not be provided any No-Objection Certificate, required to play tournaments outside the country, for the next 18 months.
The board chairman Nazmul Hasan stated about this 'exemplary' action against Shakib after a meeting of the
Bangladesh Cricket Board Monday.
The board chief was peeved as Shakib went to participate in the Caribbean Premier League without the No-Objection Certificate. He was asked to return to join the Bangladesh team's training camp that started on July 1.
On his retun Shakib explained he went to play CPL without any permission from the board due to a misunderstanding.
Following the ban, Shakib is barred from participating in any tournament abroad.
