Sunday, 14 June 2015

Rain again stopped play on the 5th and final day of the one-off Test between Bangladesh and India at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Narayanganj on Sunday. Bangladesh, resuming their rain-disrupted first innings on overnight score of 111 for 3, lost the wicket of allrounder Shakib Al Hasan just after the resumption of play under overcast sky. Ravichandran Ashwin delivered the breakthrough for India as he enticed an edge off Shakib to wicket-keeper Saha. Bangladesh were batting with 133 for 4 in 36.1 overs when shower intervened once again. Imrul Kayes with 63 and Soumya Sarkar with 8 runs were on the crease when the report was filed on Sunday afternoon, according to a news agency.
