Shakib regains top T20 allrounder spot
Sunday, 7 December 2014
Shakib Al Hasan has regained his position as the top allrounder of the game's shortest format Twenty20.
Pakistan's Mohammad Hafiz's poor performance has catapulted Shakib to the top.
Hafiz scored just 11 runs in the two-match T20 series against New Zealand and took one wicket last week.
Shakib, who currently has a rating point of 378, is trailed by Hafiz with 364 points.
Earlier, the left-handed cricketer regained his top Test allrounder position thanks to his fantastic performance against Zimbabwe last month at home.
He is currently ranked third among top ODI allrounders, according to a news agency.
