Shakib should focus on cricket

Star Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan had gone through another controversy. His contract with the Betwinner News, a sister concern of betting house Betwinner sparked a controversy this time. It is a pathetic thing for the cricket lovers, sad thing for his fans and bad for the country. With a wonderful performance record, Shakib is one of the best all-rounders in the world cricket. He is a golden boy of Bangladesh cricket.
It is difficult to understand, why such a star player has to involve in controversial things harmful for him, for the country's cricket. Earlier, a number of international star cricketers from other countries damaged their performance and reputation by doing such things. We don't want any such thing from Shakib. Instead, we want Shakib to concentrate more on his and the team's performance. As he has now becomes the captain of T20 Asia Cup team Bangladesh, he should focus on this now. The format of the regional tournament changed to help the teams to take better preparation for the ensuing T20 World Cup in Australia in October-November. Shakib should show his best and lead Bangladesh.
