Monday, 15 January 2024

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is set to leave the country for London to see an ophthalmologist for his recurring eye problem, a member of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) medical department said, reports BSS.
Shakib has of late problem with his eyesight while batting, something which bothered him during the ICC.
Shakib's franchise Rangpur Riders, however, have arranged for the meeting with an ophthalmologist in London as the eyesight problem for the all-rounder lingers. He is expected to be back before the start of the BPL, which begins on January 19.
He was seen wearing glasses during the net session at the Bashundhara Sports Complex in the city on Sunday.
