Shakib tops them all

Bangladesh’s multiple world record-holder Shakib Al Hasan stayed best all-rounder in the globe. The 28-year-old ace cricketer retained the top position in the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s all-rounder ranking in Tests with 384 points.
The rankings were released this (Tuesday) afternoon following the conclusion of the Colombo and Dubai Tests. Indian Ravichandran Ashwin followed Shakib in second position with 341 points. Ashwin has gained ground on Shakib after the second Test with Sri Lanka.
English batsman Joe Root was named the top (number 1 ranked) Test batsman by the ICC.
Dale Steyn of South Africa has become the top highest-ranked bowler in the world, followed by Pakistani spinner Yasir Shah. Yasir Shah became the second best of the globe for the first time in his career in the latest ICC Test Player Rankings. Australia’s Mitchell Johnson has climbed two places to sixth after recording match figures of four for 86 runs in London.
