Since its launch in 2014, the forum has addressed challenges such as terrorism, violent extremism, maritime security, climate-related risks and transnational crime.
The annual event, held in Dakar, aims to promote collective responses to security threats in Africa while strengthening international cooperation and dialogue among nations and institutions.
