Following is a mobile-phone conversation between Nur Hossain, the prime suspect in Narayanganj 7-murder, and Shamim Osman, MP, that, according to private station Channel 24, took place two days after the 7 men were abducted in Narayanganj on April 27. Channel 24 aired the 103-minute conversation recently. Narayanganj City Ward-4 Councillor Nur Hussain made the call from his Airtel phone to Shamim Osman’s Grameenphone around 9:30pm on April 29:

Shamim Osman: Hello. Nur Hossain: Assalamu Alaikum, brother. Osman: Who is speaking? Hossain: Brother, I’m in great trouble. I’m uneducated. I’ve made many mistakes...Your’e like my father. I love you so much. Osman: Did you get the news I sent? Hossain: Yes. I love you so much, brother. My son is young. He will die. Guns are trained on me. Osman: Time will take care of everything. Hossain: You’re like my father. I will give you my life, brother. I love you so much, brother. Osman: Don’t worry so much. Give it time. Hossain: Brother, I’m not educated. I’ve made many mistakes.
