Shamsher, six others get bail

A Dhaka court granted Wednesday bail to BNP Vice Chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and six others, who were arrested on charges of obstructing police in discharging their duties.
Metropolitan Magistrate Ismail Hossain granted the bail when the police produced them before the court, reports UNB.
The police arrested Mr Chowdhury and six others from Mohakhali in the capital during the day-long hartal on June 27 and Metropolitan Magistrate Roksana Begum Happy later placed Mr Chowdhury and six others on a one day remand on June 28.
