Bangladesh were 34 for one wicket in 9.1 overs against India in their first match in Asia Cup cricket tournament at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium at Fatullah in Narayanganj district on Wednesday afternoon. The hosts lost opener Shamsur Rahman early in the match. Shamsur returned to pavilion scoring 7 off 12 balls. He was caught in the sixth over. He tried to whip the short delivery from Mohammed Shami to the leg side but ended up giving a thick leading edge. The bowler himself ran towards the cover and took the catch. Co-opener Mominul Haque and one down bat Bijoy were in the crease, according to a news agency.
