CEO of SAML Mohammad Emran Hasan and Managing Director of ICB Kazi Sanaul Hoq exchanging documents after signing an agreement between the two sides on Monday. Under the deal Shanta Asset Management Limited (SAML) will add a new Shariah fund named "Shanta Amanah Shariah Fund" to its existing portfolio. SAML is the Sponsor and Asset Manager of the Fund while Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) will act as the Trustee and Custodian of the Fund
