Sheikh Hasina's Homecoming Day today

The ruling Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies and likeminded organisations have chalked out a daylong programme to mark the 32nd Homecoming Day of party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today (Friday), reports BSS. The programmes include placing of wreaths at the portrait of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi, Road-32 at 7:30am and distribution of food among the inmates of orphanages at 1:30pm. Besides, Dhaka City AL will organise a discussion to be followed by Milad and Dua Mahfil seeking divine blessings for long life of Sheikh Hasina at its Bangabandhu Avenue office at 4pm. Central leaders of AL will meet their leader Sheikh Hasina and exchange greetings with her at her official residence Ganobhaban in the city at 7pm. In a statement Thursday, AL General Secretary and Local Government and Rural Development Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, MP, requested party units across the country to observe the day in line with the central programmes of the party.-
