Sheikh Jamal reach final of Safal Pokhra Football Cup in Nepal

A 10-men Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club of Dhaka moved into the final of Safal Pokhara Cup Football Tournament in Nepal eliminating hosts Pokhara Eleven by 3-0 goal at the Pokhara Stadium Thursday, reports UNB. Bangladesh League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will play the final against Nepal Army on Saturday at the same venue. In the day's match, Kester struck twice and Everton netted the remaining goal for the visitors, which clearly dominated the first half by 2-0 goals. Brazilian player Everton broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute by a long range shot from about 30 yards which kissed the hosts net making fool the custodian Samit (1-0). Kester doubled the Sheikh Jamal margin in the 42nd minute with a cool shot from goalmouth melee (2-0). Kester confirmed the visitors' comfortable victory in the 64th minute scoring his second and the 3rd goal for Sheikh Jamal utilising a readymade pass from Everton, who passed the ball to Kester after dodging past two opponent defenders (3-0). Earlier, the Bangladesh League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club were reduced to 10 men in the 47th minute after receiving second yellow cards in the match.
