Sheikh Russell KC to play Ugyen Academy of Bhutan today

Bangladesh champions Sheikh Russell KC will play Ugyen Academy FC of Bhutan in their 3rd and last Group A match of the AFC President Cup Football at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo today (Sunday), reports UNB.
Bangladesh Premier League champions and the last year's treble-winner Sheikh Russell KC, is now at the top of the four-team Group A list with unbeaten run securing four points from two matches, need just a draw against bottom-ranked Ugyen Academy FC, to assure their 2nd round berth.
Sheikh Russell KC brightened their chances to clinch the group title crushing Sri Lankan Air Force team by a huge margin 5-0 goal Friday after playing goalless draw with another title contender KRL Football Club of Pakistan.
Both Sheikh Russell KC and KRL FC of Pakistan have secured four points each from two matches with unbeaten run, but the Russell KC went ahead by better goal difference, scoring five goals against KRL FC's three goals.
The KRL FC of Pakistan, which beat Ugyen Academy FC of Bhutan by 3-0 goals on Friday will play their last match against Sri Lankan Air Force team Sunday to decide the group title.
The players of Sheikh Russell KC did not make any practice session Saturday and spent the day playing table tennis, carom, chess and beach volleyball before swimming at noon, said a BFF media release Saturday.
Prior to the Sunday's last match Sheikh Russell coach Dragan Dukanovic said, "We want to reach the 2nd round (AFC meet) as the group champion, and it will help us to play good football at Home."
Experienced defender Hasan Al Mamun said, "We like to play a good football in future after returning home, maintaining our present form."
