Sheikh Russell KC earned a straight 3-0 victory over Wari Club in the AB Bank Metropolis Senior Division Table Tennis (TT) League at the NSC wooden floor gymnasium in the city Monday.
Mahbub (Russell KC) outplayed Babon (Wari Club) by 11-7, 11-6, 11-5 points, Mustafa (Russell KC) defeated Shahed (Wari Club) by 11-7,11-8,4-11, 7-11,11-5 points while Kochi (Russell KC) beat Rokin (Wari Club) 9-11,11-6,11-8, 6-11, 11-9 points.
In the day's other matches, Ajax SC beat Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club by straight 3-0 sets, Armanitola JS defeated Engineers Club also by 3-0 sets each while Brothers Union Club overcame Mohammadpur Boys by 3-1 sets at the same venue, reports UNB.
