Sher-e-Bangla's birth anniversary today

The 137th birth anniversary of Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Hoque will be observed today (Tuesday), reports BSS.
A leader of Bangali nationalism and movements for democracy and independence, Sher-e-Bangla formed Krishak Sramik Party after the creation of Pakistan and engaged himself in the struggle to realise rights of the people.
Various political and socio-cultural organisations have taken elaborate programmes to observe the birth anniversary of Sher-e-Bangla.
