Sher-e-Bangla's death anniversary today

The 48th anniversary of death of eminent politician and social worker Sher-e-Bangla Abul Kashem Fazlul Huq will be observed today (Tuesday) with due respect, reports UNB.
President M Zillur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages to pay tributes to the great leader.
President M Zillur Rahman in his message said Sher-e-Bangla's contribution to the country's socio-economic and political history is memorable.
Different political and cultural organisations including Bangladesh Awami League and Jatiya Ganatantrik League will observe the day by placing wreaths at his grave and holding other programmes.
