Shibir denies involvement in Islamic song performance

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 10 (UNB): Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir has denied any involvement in the performance of Islamic songs at a puja mandap in Chattogram.
"False propaganda began circulating on social media on Thursday, October 10, around 8:00 pm, alleging Shibir's involvement in the incident at the JM Sen Hall during a Hindu community festival," according to a press release signed by Salauddin Akash, Publicity Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir's Metropolitan North unit.
The release further clarified that Shibir had no connection to the incident.
