Shibir leader among 90 arrested in Ctg

Members of law enforcement agencies arrested 90, including a local Islami Chhatra Shibir leader, from different upazilas of Chittagong district early Wednesday. During the drive, the law enforcers also seized some contraband drugs from them. Additional Superintendent (special branch) of Police Muhammad Naimul Hasan said the Shibir man was picked up from Satkania upazila town. Among the arrestees, 89 are accused in various cases, filed with different police stations of Chittagong city and its adjoining upazilas, according to a news agency.
