Shibir leader killed in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, June 21 (UNB): A local leader of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir was killed and another man seriously injured in an alleged attack over a dispute surrounding the election of a government primary school's managing committee president in Saghata upazila of Gaibandha on Sunday. The deceased, Saiful Islam, 22, was president of the Bonarpara union unit of Chhatra Shibir.
