Shibir leader of RU hall held

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, JAN 15: Motihar Thana police arrested an Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) leader of Rajshahi University (RU) hall unit Friday morning.
Tense situation was prevailing following the arrest of the Shibir leader.
The arrestee was identified as Shahanewaz Sachha, a master's student of Public Administration department and president of ICS Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman hall unit, of RU.
Officer in Charge (OC) of Motihar Thana police station Tafazzol Hossain told the newsmen that Shahanawaz was arrested for attacking police August 19 in 2008.
