Shibir man killed in gunfight with cops

SATKHIRA, Apr 27 (UNB): A local leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir was killed in a gunfight with police at Kamalnagar in the district town Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Aminul Islam, general secretary of the town unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir.
Being tipped off that a group of Shibir men was holding a clandestine meeting at a house in the area, a police team raided the house at about 4:30 pm, said Imanul Haque, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar thana.
