Shibir RU chief among 22 sued for killing Rustam

Rajshahi University's Islami Chhatra Shibir president and 21 others have been accused of murdering Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader Rustom Ali Akhand. Mehedi Hasan, vice-president of Awami League’s student wing, named these 22 in the case he filed on Saturday night. The case accuses Shibir president Ashraful Alam Emon and several other top leaders of the Jamaat-e-Islami's student front, said Motihar Police OC ABM Rezaul Haque. Rustom, acting general secretary of BCL’s Suhrawardy Hall unit, was shot dead in his dormitory on Friday noon, according to bdnews24.com.
