Shimanto Bank signs agreement with Bangladesh Bank

Shimanto Bank has recently signed a participatory agreement with Bangladesh Bank under the "Financial Inclusion Credit Guarantee Scheme" to provide guarantee facility under inclusive financing. Small depositors such as TK 10/50/100 account holders, marginal and landless farmers, low-income professionals, school banking account holders and small traders will be able to get financing under this scheme. The agreement was signed in the presence of Md. Sawkatul Alam, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank. Muhammad Nazmul Haque, Director (CGD), Bangladesh Bank and Mohammad Azizul Hoque, Managing Director and CEO (CC) of Shimanto Bank signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations. Mohammad Imam Hossain, Additional Director, Zobaida Afroze, Additional Director, CGD of Bangladesh Bank and Sanjoy Pal, Sr. Manager (SME Banking), Shimanto Bank, were present.
