Ship sinks at Chittagong port

A vessel, used for supplying water to ships, capsized at the Chittagong port on Sunday. The ship ‘MV Mashak’ sank around 5am on Sunday while being anchored at a jetty. Captain Nazmul Alam, Deputy Conservator of Chittagong Port said, “the ship was deployed for supplying water to ships anchored at the port. An inquiry has been started”. Efforts to rescue the capsized ship have started, said Alam. He, however, clarified that port operations have not been affected, according to a news agency.
