Shiraji leaves for Japan

Dr Sharif Muniruzzaman Shiraji, Assistant Prof of Civil Engineering Department of World University of Bangladesh (WUB), has been selected as JSPS fellow for two years at the Saitama University in Japan.
He is the only teacher from the private universities in Bangladesh who has been selected for the fellowship. A farewell was accorded to him at a meeting with WUB Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury in the chair on October 31.
Shiraji left for Japan on November 01, 2007, a WUB Press release said.
